IronGenie Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the IronGenie app and related services.

Acceptance

By creating an account, signing in, subscribing, uploading content, sharing content, or using IronGenie, you agree to these Terms and the IronGenie Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Eligibility

IronGenie is a general-audience app for users who are at least 13 years old and old enough to use the app under the laws that apply to them. You must provide accurate account and profile information, including your birthday during setup. Do not use the app if you are under 13.

Fitness and Medical Disclaimer

IronGenie provides workout planning, logging, progress tracking, and conservative training suggestions. IronGenie is not a medical provider, medical device, emergency service, or substitute for professional medical advice.

You are responsible for deciding whether a workout, exercise, load, range of motion, or recommendation is appropriate for you. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning or changing an exercise program, especially if you have injuries, pain, or concerns about exercise safety. Stop exercising and seek qualified medical advice if you experience concerning symptoms, injury, or significant pain.

AI-generated or app-generated suggestions can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. Review all recommendations before training.

By using IronGenie, you accept responsibility for your training decisions and understand that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, IronGenie and its operators are not responsible for injuries, illness, medical issues, or other health outcomes that may arise from your training or use of the app.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. You may not use another person's account, impersonate another person, scrape the service, interfere with app operations, bypass access controls, or use IronGenie for unlawful, unsafe, abusive, or deceptive activity.

Subscriptions

IronGenie uses Apple auto-renewable subscriptions for paid access after any IronGenie-managed free trial. Subscription purchase, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and billing management are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.

Eligible new accounts receive a 14-day IronGenie-managed free trial with no payment required up front. This trial is not an Apple introductory offer, does not create an Apple subscription, and will not automatically bill you when it ends unless you choose to subscribe through Apple.

The current paid subscription is IronGenie Monthly. Pricing is shown in the app and in the App Store purchase flow before you subscribe.

You can restore purchases and open Apple's subscription management page from Account -> Subscription. Deleting your IronGenie account does not cancel Apple billing.

User Content

User Content means anything you create, upload, enter, publish, share, send, or attach in IronGenie, including profile names, usernames, photos, cover images, workout media, bug-report attachments, plans, movements, descriptions, notes, instructions, links, reference videos, club content, challenge content, share/import requests, and report details.

You keep ownership of your User Content. You grant IronGenie a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display, perform, transmit, process, translate, format, resize, moderate, de-identify, preserve, remove, and otherwise use your User Content as needed to operate, secure, support, improve, and provide the app and related services.

When you share, publish, or submit content for public listing, you also grant IronGenie the right to make that content available to intended recipients, public discovery surfaces, reviewers, moderators, and users who save or receive private copies where supported by the app.

Only upload media and content that you own, created yourself, have permission to use, or that has an explicit reusable license. Do not upload nudity, sexually explicit content, copyrighted material, paid course clips, athlete footage, private images, personal data about others, or other material you cannot lawfully use.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and for making sure it is lawful, non-infringing, and permitted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, IronGenie is not responsible for User Content uploaded, shared, or published by users, including content later found to infringe rights, violate privacy, or be unlawful.

Public Profiles, Sharing, and Social Features

Profiles for users 18 and older default to public and discoverable. Profiles for users under 18 default to private with friend-list visibility restricted to friends only. You can change these settings at any time.

Active social features include profile discovery, friend requests, friendships, blocks, clubs, club activity, content reports, hides, and private plan/movement share imports. Profile visibility and friend-list settings control what other authenticated users can view through supported app surfaces.

Public or shared content may be copied, saved, imported, reviewed, reported, hidden, de-identified, or removed according to app functionality and moderation rules. Recipients may work from private copies rather than live editable access to your original content.

Moderation

IronGenie may review, restrict, hide, reject, remove, preserve, de-identify, or change access to accounts or User Content if we believe it violates these Terms, infringes rights, creates safety risk, creates privacy risk, is abusive, is misleading, is spam, is unlawful, or may harm IronGenie, users, reviewers, or the public library.

IronGenie may use automated checks, manual review, user reports, or other moderation processes to block or remove prohibited content. Moderation is not perfect, and you should not assume that IronGenie has reviewed, approved, or verified any user-uploaded content.

Users can report content and block or hide other users/content where supported. Reports may include evidence snapshots and excerpts needed for review.

Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not use IronGenie to upload, share, publish, or promote:

• Content you do not have the right to use
• Harassment, hate, threats, bullying, impersonation, scams, spam, or deceptive content
• Nudity, pornographic, or sexually explicit content
• Content that invades privacy or exposes another person's personal information without permission
• Dangerous training instructions, unsafe challenges, or content encouraging self-harm or reckless activity
• Malware, attempts to bypass security, scraping, automated abuse, or attacks on the service
• Illegal activity or content that violates applicable law

Account Deletion

You can request account deletion in the app under Account -> Data & Privacy -> Delete Account. You must type DELETE to confirm. Account deletion removes your account and linked private training history according to the active deletion workflow.

Published library content, shared content, moderation records, billing audit records, security records, and legal/compliance records may be retained, removed, or de-identified as needed for public library integrity, safety, dispute handling, legal obligations, fraud prevention, or operational records. Published plans and movements may remain available without your account identity.

Privacy

The IronGenie Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects and how it is used. By using IronGenie, you agree that we may process information as described in that policy.

Service Availability

IronGenie may change, suspend, or discontinue features; restrict access; update supported plans, movements, languages, pricing, or subscriptions; and perform maintenance. We may require app updates for security, legal, compatibility, or operational reasons.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

IronGenie is provided as available and without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, fitness results, injury prevention, medical accuracy, or that recommendations will be appropriate for every user.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IronGenie and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, personal injury, or training outcomes arising from use of the app.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the app, App Store metadata, website, or another reasonable method. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
